Pour son projet d'Anglais renforcé, l'école du Sacré Cœur de Puisseguin s'est vue décerner le "label Ouverture Internationale" de l'Enseignement Catholique. 

Miss Charlotte SWAN, anglophone, intervient chaque jour dans les classes, y compris en maternelle. Voici son témoignage : 

Sacré Cœur places a large emphasis on English. The children from maternelle to CM2 have regular lessons with anglophone Charlotte Swan. Maternelle/CP learning through nursery rhymes, song and actions . CE1 upwards is a broadening of vocabulary already learnt through conversation / reading written work and reciting English poems. Along with learning about British and other English speaking countries' cultures . All working hard on their English accents! The CM classes have put on plays in English i.e. scenes from Harry Potter and The Wizard of Oz. Also , this year working alongside their teacher on a project of 'exposés’ in English, individually presenting in front of their class. It was a fun and successful project on the planets which the CM enjoyed immensely. The aim is for children to arrive at college with a grounded level of English and most importantly with confidence, enjoyment and a passion for learning English.
